New Head Announcement

We are delighted to announce that David Edwards has been appointed as the new Headmaster of Wellesley Prep School, succeeding Mr McDonald, and will take up the role in January 2027.

David is currently Senior Deputy Head at Haberdashers Monmouth School, having previously been Housemaster and a Modern Foreign Languages teacher at Wellington College.

With a strong background in pastoral care, co-curricular education and school leadership, David shares our belief that great education goes beyond academic achievement – it’s about developing character alongside intellect.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming David and his family to the Wellesley community.
